Insignia Freezer was a best buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Who would have thought we'd have so much trouble finding a freezer when our old freezer conked out. The usual appliance stores had none. As a last resort we tried Best Buy and were lucky to find the Insignia 13.8 cu ft upright convertible freezer/refrigerator in stock. The salesman told us they were made by Frigidare, he had 57 of them, and they were going fast. That was good enough for me. Not only were they able to deliver the freezer in 3 days, and not 3 months, but the delivery guys called at 7AM and asked if we wanted to move our delivery up to first delivered AM. Great job and thank you for that. The freezer is everything we needed, it's cold, it doesn't take up a lot of space, it's quiet, not complicated to use, and it has room for frozen foods and meats we occasionally buy on sale. We had a 15.7 cubic foot Kenmore. This one is slightly smaller but it swallowed up everything we had in the old freezer with room to spare.

The frezzer is all over the place in a 24hr time period and will not hold a specific temp. Last night -11 this morning -4 it will climb up to 18 degrees before lunch. I turn quick freeze on at this point and it drops it back down to -9 or so. I guess I'm going to call and get a technician out to look it over.. Sucks Best Buy walks away after 15days..
