We did not, 18 month and the unit died. Best Buy won’t touch it without the extended coverage, Insignia won’t repair anything smaller than 19 cubic feet, called several independent repair shops, no one will touch it.

I lost around $700 in food, it was not cover in the warranty. You must purchase the Geek Squd protection, that's on me. But they only cover $300 if i remember right. Bestbuy did deliver a new one, but it took over a week.

My wife and I took the whole day off for our freezer delivery. We moved the old one out to the garage and I even took off the laundry room door to give even more room. The time got changed to 3pm to 7pm. No problem watched the map where Christopher drove all around the area. The time got pushed out all the way to 9pm. Still no problem. Eventually at 8:30 it said he was on the way and would be there in 20 minutes. So I waited at the end of my driveway for forty minutes. Nothing I tried calling best buy, but the help line said someone would be right with me and hung up twice. They obviously cancelled on me. No phone call, no email, no text. So inconsiderate

Purchased 5-yr warranty, Bestbuy made me bring the freezer to the store and I was told 8-10 weeks for repair. Not acceptable. The freezer was great while it was working ... not happy with Bestbuy at all.

Poor Design for Refridgerator Setting

If the unit looses power, even for few seconds, it completely resets to default Freezer mode at 00 degrees no matter how you have it programmed and locked. Called Insignia and was told that it was designed this way with no backup to hold the memory. What is the point in setting it up for a Fridge when at anytime it can reset to a freezer. So I returned it immediately before I ended up with loss of food or worse end up with a frozen mess. Other than that, it seemed like it had potential to be a great product. Such a shame.
