Avoid this unless you want to have items Freeze after you set it for Fridge mode. If the unit looses power, even for few seconds, it completely resets to default Freezer mode at 00 degrees no matter how you have it programmed and locked. Called Insignia and was told that it was designed this way with no backup to hold the memory. What is the point in setting it up for a Fridge when at anytime it can reset to a freezer. So I returned it immediately before I ended up with loss of food or worse end up with a frozen mess. Other than that, it seemed like it had potential to be a great product. Such a shame.

So far it’s doing ok disappointing when purchase is was a small dent in the front but it was delivered to us it was a big dent & larger scratch in the front door

Unfortunately after 18 months this stopped working on me. Haven't had it fixed yet but we lost about $1,000 worth of food that we had in it. Guess I'll buy the extended warranty next time but something like this shouldn't breakdown so fast.

It's Freezer .i have no complaints as of now keep everything frozen easy to get items out due to the fact it's a standing Freezer which is a plus for me and my family.

My first one broke in under a year. I lost around $700 in food, it was not cover in the warranty. You must purchase the Geek Squd protection, that's on me. But they only cover $300 if i remember right. Bestbuy did deliver a new one, but it took over a week.

Well, since they have to send me,another one because the one they delivered doesn't work. Not happy at all. Having to talk to 5 different people to get this taken care of is very disturbing.
