    piece of garbage , the door handle is so cheap . the set screws are going into the plastic handle to hold the handle on the door are just to small for the pressure it takes to open it . the handle came off at the bottom and the screw is now stripped out after trying to tighten it back up . i dont recomend this product for this price point .

    The unit stopped working within the warranty period. Best Buy considers this 61”, 160 lb product to be a “small item” which has to be brought into the store for warranty repair. Extremely disappointed both in the product and the service

    I had it a little over a year and it died and I had to buy a new one. It was cheaper to buy a new freezer than to get this one replaced. Don’t waste your time with this one

    Piece of crap. On the refrigerator mode set the temp to 35F. Temperature swings from 31F to 53F. Bought for dray aging and charcuterie. But doesn't maintain a constant temp. Emailed tech support and still haven't heard from them. And of course past the date to return,

    I shouldn't have listened to the salesman he didn't know much about it, I learned a lot about it after I got it home and looked on the box, it didn't do a couple of things that he told me what it did!

    Refrigeration temps fluctuated widely

    We bought this item as a backup to both our refrigerator and our standup freezer. We liked the idea that it could serve either purpose, as sometimes we have lots of special event food needing refrigeration and sometimes we have lots of food that needs to go into the deep freeze. We quickly noticed that when it was in refrigerator mode the temperature inside fluctuated wildly, from 28 degrees to 44 degrees (it was set to 35 degrees). Not good for the food! Tried to troubleshoot the problem with the manufacturer for about an hour before the manufacturer's rep told us to contact Best Buy for a pick-up and refund. Then the headaches and wasted time on the phone really began.

    Just purchased in March 2025 control panel doesn’t work & it’s stuck on refrigerator mode. Very disappointing!

    Was only good for one year. Would not get below 40 degrees. Wish we would have kept our chest freezer that lasted us 20 years and was still going.

    Purchased on March 30th, stopped working on April 20th. Conveniently 3 days after the return window close. Don’t buy.

    We bought this freezer on the 29th. It was delivered out on the 1st on the 9th after filling it full of meats the freezer went down, everything in the freezer was lost called bestbuy was told its my loss there's nothing they can do, Warning do not buy this piece of junk freezer... we already are having problems putting food on the table but to take a total loss like this is Devastating to say the least...

    The product seems fine overall but showed up with a broken glass plate. We've since been on hold with Best Buy for 3-4 hours getting the run around before they had us start over where we began.

    RUNS WARM - Keep a thermometer inside

    I’ve had a technician tell me to always keep a thermometer in your refrigerator and since then I always have! This fridge runs about 5-10° what I have it set on. Right now it’s set on 35° but the thermostat reads around 45°. I turned it down to 35° because my items in the fridge didn’t seem cold, only cool.

    We have bought this model twice. The first one stopped working at the 5 years mark. The most recent one died within a year. We opened it to find everything completely defrosted.

    THE WHOLE UNIT MOVES WHENEVER I OPEN DOOR!

    I am filled with SO MUCH REGRET after purchasing this appliance. I bought it to use as a deep freezer. The freezing element is great. Gets cold fast/freezes things quickly and does a deep freeze. However, when the power went out, my food didn't last long in here at all before it started thawing, which was super disappointing. The freezer section on my Samsung refrigerator held my food frozen for 3 days...whereas my food was thawing within 12 hours in this unit. That was kind of eye opening for me. But that's not the main basis for this complaint. Why I absolutely HATE HATE HATE this appliance is that EVERY SINGLE TIME I OPEN THE DOOR THE WHOLE UNIT MOVES. This has led to it scratching my wall (it's in my laundry room), and constantly being in the way of my other appliances and everything else. I have literally had to hold on to the freezer while I grab the door to open it to prevent it from sliding around everywhere. I spent over $800 on this thing w/warranty included and it is NOT worth it at all. I am going to try to sell it which I'll obviously lose money doing so, but I would rather just have to take that loss and buy something else rather than have to live with doing this every day. Such a waste and disappointment.
