The compressor failed 11 days after delivery. I noticed on day 10 that the compressor seemed to be running each time I walked past the freezer. Then, around 7 AM this morning I started hearing the "high temp" alarm.
Thankfully, we had a thermometer sitting inside the freezer as the display is no longer reading a temp. I looked inside and the thermometer confirmed the temp is above freezing.
I tried turning down the temp...nothing. I selected quick freeze...nothing. The compressor failed AFTER LESS THAN 2 WEEKS. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

Stopped cooling after only 17 months. The display didn’t show any error codes. I tried unplugging it and letting it sit open for a day, but that didn’t make a difference. Without a warranty, I’ll have to pay $100 just to get the geek squad to look at it and give an estimate. Once we tack on parts and labor costs for an actual repair, it’s a better bet to buy a new fridge elsewhere. $550 down the drain!

I have been using it in freezer mode for 15 months, just over a year, and it suddenly stopped cooling. The outside panel says it’s still 0 degrees, but it’s hot inside and will not cool down at all anymore. The freezer was completely full and all the food spoiled.

I want to like this freezer/refrigerator, but when the digital display doesn't match the actual temperature it defeats the purpose. To make it worse, there are limits on the range. So a 35 deg setting results in a refrigerator temperature of 41 and settings won't allow it to go lower the refrigerator application is worthless.

I truly wish I could give this item 5 stars. It is supposed to be a fridge/freezer. It did not freeze it never worked. It was a great price, great size and great layout inside but did not freeze...the reason for the purchase.

We have bought this model twice. The first one stopped working at the 5 years mark. The most recent one died within a year. We opened it to find everything completely defrosted.

The freezer will not say on. It keeps turning off. I’ve been transferred to 6 different people at Best Buy and they told me I had to bring the freezer to the store. My husband and I are in our late 60/70’s and they want us to bring it to the store. Crazy!

This Freezer worked great for the first 6 months, now it’s randomly not keeping its temperature.
Just came back to it with a bunch of thawed food. It wasn’t even warm outside today.

I bought this full-size freezer in March 2024. It works for a while, and then without warning defrosts completely and all the food is spoiled. It is still under warranty, but Best Buy will not send a technician to my home, and will not repair it unless I physically bring the appliance into a Best Buy store.
