    I’m very happy with this freezer. Like the upright so much better than a deep chest style because I can see and organize everything.

    No product for repair: Hello, I just purchased this product yesterday. Overall, I really like the Insignia Freezer/refrigerator. Issue: Door close button bent. Thus it indicates the door is always open. Issue: Insignia does NOT have parts for repair. With in a year, they will replace the appliance. Though what happens after that year. Issue: This information is not shared with the customer. If you want this appliance for only a year, that’s great! However, buyer beware. Presently, Best Buy is searching the USA (50 States) for a replacement. Can you imaging, all that material wasted over a button. Take care.

    Freezer no longer freezing

    Bought this the end of 2020. Worked great for 3 years. Loved it even got my boss to buy a few for our workplace.. Now the freezer no longer freezes extremely disappointed.

    Bought this exact freezer in March 2020. It was a great freezer while it lasted. I would have exoected to get more usage timewise out if it.

    This was good while it lasted. It was used inside a home and only lasted 2 years. Annnddd no appliance repair people work on these (because they can’t get the parts) except Best Buy. There diagnosis fee must be paid upfront with no clue if it will be 2 days or 2 weeks before their agents will come out. The fee is also significantly higher than any other local repair agents and does not include any labor or parts. I personally will not be purchasing another appliance from this brand, and stick with brands that can at least be serviced if broken.

    NEVER NEVER EVER buy an appliance from Best Buy!

    NEVER NEVER EVER buy an appliance from Best Buy! Bought their own brand of freezer, Insignia, that failed within a couple of months, spoiling hundreds of dollars of meats and proteins. They will not reimburse the $550 purchase nor the $30 deliver and installation fee. To top it off, my only option is to bring this 163 lbs, 5 ft tall, unit into their store on my own for its repair. Unbelievable!?! I don't have the manpower nor the vehicle to do this--which is why I used their delivery service in the first place. Wow! Stay away!

    DON'T BUY!! !!Worst ever do not buy ANY INSIGNIA OR REFRIGERATION PRODUCTS HERE OF ANY BRAND . They do NOT have Technicians for refrigeration to fix them. I bought this in 2/2019 and it quit working. 17 months is all I got out of it. Called left messages they finally told me that we don't fix them WE SELL THEM. DO NOT BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY EITHER WILL NOT BE COVERED GLAD i DIDN'T GET THAT. Was going to fix it but I lost a lot of money from it breaking down, threw out a lot of food, I wouldn't trust it, I had to find my own technician. SO IT WENT OUT FOR JUNK MAN he took it for the scrap.

    Nice and quiet but doesn't like Louisiana heat

    Bought this to add freezer space inside my garage. Well after a week of rainy weather we finally got some sunny days and the freezer can't hold the temperature. Gives a high temp warning. Keep in a climate control area and you should have good results.

    I purchased one of these 7/17...had it delivered 3/18. It died in September. I would hope 5his new model would last longer. It is not available in my area even for delivery. It is available for pick up 78 miles from me.

    Have tried both refrigerator and freezer in the unit Neither the refrigerator or freezer hold the temperature Refrigerator ranges from 39° to 55° (I have 3 thermometers in the unit) Unsafe to use as a refrigerator Freezer does not keep foods frozen Tried the quarter test in a cup of frozen water (Over a 2 week period the quarter has dropped to the middle of the ice) this says the freezer is cooling then warming which causes the quarter to sink Have unplugged and plugged in to reset No luck Followed the manual directions Been 30 days and it’s time to contact Best Buy Very Very Disappointed in the unit

    After purchasing this fridge 2 years ago, it has completely stopped working for no reason. Of course it is outside of warranty. Good luck finding a local repair shop that will work on Insignia, none of them do so you will just have to buy another brand new fridge when this one breaks...they don't make them like they used to.

    Great for barely a year, then JUNK!

    My mom got this based on positive reviews. Worked great for a little over a year and now the freezer doesn't work and would barely qualify as a refrigerator, even though it's in freezer mode. Don't waste your money on this junk!

    The worst freezer ever, lasted 3 years, died with it full of meat. So sad I would not recommend this to my worst enemy Best Buy was no help.

    Buy from a retailer with better delivery service

    The delivery crew dropped it in my garage and refused to bring it inside claiming (falsely) that I needed to pay for installation to have it brought inside. I told him I wanted to return it on the spot and not accept it. He told me he would leave it there until the return processes and he left. After two calls to best buy, I finally have an appointment in A WEEK to bring the fridge inside. Is this fridge good? I have no idea. Ask me in a week. Will I ever buy a major appliance from Best Buy again? Probably not. Better to buy from a store with local customer service and better delivery teams.

    Terrible Door

    No matter what we do or how we close it, the door does not stay closed. It stays closed long enough for you to think it's closed and walk away. Then it opens up a crack, only for you to come back hours later to hear it beeping at you, letting you know the door is open.

    Good Freezer, Pi$$ Poor Refrigerator

    Good as a freezer but sucks as a refrigerator. Refrigerator temp set on 35 and it struggles to maintain low 40s and will stray into the upper 40s.

    Quit working after only having it for 2 weeks. It was on back order to be able to get a replacement so I didn't have the option of getting a new one again but my store did have a scratch and dent one I settled for. Hopefully it actually stays cold. Disappointed because I really do like the concept and the size of it.
