One being it is a tad sensitive, just walking by within a few inches and it opens, will have to get used to giving wide berth. Also, it is a tad loud opening. Can hear it open from 2 rooms away. As said, minor complaints.

Then this became a deal of the day for $35, so I snatched it up. This thing is awesome, does exactly what it is advertised to do. Still have the same batteries since I bought it before Christmas. I have white trash bags and once you put the seal over the bag put the lid on, you cannot see the bag. This is a must buy, get it!

Slick auto opening lid

Now I don’t have to worry about handling meat and opening the garbage. Minor but very annoying. I also like that there is a little insert that holds the garbage bag in the bin nice and secure. It doesn’t come with the D batteries so order those at the same time.

The perfect size and I love the handsfree functionality. My kitchen sized trash bags fit perfectly and it comes with a removable rim that securely fastens the sides so no slippage and no mess from unsecured bags. This feature also gives a clean look. I highly recommend.

This met my requirements, and is the perfect size. The automatic lid works perfectly, and the color blends very well with our kitchen. Insignia products have always been a nice combination of price/performance, and this is no exception.
