Perfect size, haven’t had any technical problems, just what I needed. The sensor is a little sensitive so don’t have any unwanted motion happening anywhere above it, but otherwise a great trash can for the value!

This item brings a smile to my face every time it opens up to eagerly await my latest contribution! My kids actually go looking for items from their rooms that need to be thrown out. What more could you ask for?

I really like this trash can, the material perfectly matches with the other stainless steel appliances. The door operates smoothly and quietly. The only thing I don’t like is the sensitivity, so put it somewhere that doesn’t have much traffic.

Been using this for about 6 months and havent had to change the batteries yet. The sensor has been very consistent and reliable. I never had to wave my hand more than once for the lid to open.

I like it so far. Sensor to open is not too sensitive, but opens well. I’ll have to see how long the battery lasts (and the motor). The next 2 years are covered being a total tech member so the motor not much of a concern.

I got a best buy deal few weeks back where the price came down under $50 including tax. In this price point it is a very good purchase I say. The setup is easy and also very easy to use.

Works great and holds way more than my previous cans. Easy to put bags in and take out.

It does what it says on the box. Its a perfect garbage can for the kitchen, where you don't want to have to touch the can to open it, but yet you need a closed container. Fits a regular bag, doesn't eat batteries, and is easy to change. Just something that does what it says it would do, and does it pretty dang well.

I love this thing! You walk by it and it opens up waiting for you. My blind mother has loved this feature, as well. She knows when she gets close it’ll open up for her and she can have her hands full.

Have had for several months now and am really happy with it. Our old plastic foot control lid opening pail had broken months before this purchase. I saw this in deal of the day and thought it was worth a try. Glad I did. The only quirky thing is that if the sensor doesn't remain triggered, it will close on you when you're emptying something like a pot of stuff you need to scrape or a vacuum cup. I learned how to work with it, but the reality is 90% of the use is quick opens to drop garbage in and go. The C size batteries seem to be lasting forever. Original set from 6+ months ago are still going albeit it a little slower. Putting bags in is a little bit of a chore if you want to use the ring that hides the bag from sight. Overall nice to have a touchless system to avoid nasty crud build up.

We put this trash into use right away. My husband is disabled and it's hard for him to bend over and pick up trash that may have been missed. This trash can is great! Not touching the surface with garbage. Just wait for it to open. I got it on sale so for me the value was great.

It's wonderful to have a self opening closing garbage can trash can because sometimes my hands are a mess from cooking and I don't want to touch anything with my hands it is a real nice convenience

First item I ordered didn’t work but very easy exchange and the new one works perfectly!

Waited several months before reviewing. I was apprehensive spending more on a trash can than I normally would, but I'm spoiled at this point. After several months of use, it's still on the first set of batteries, and my wife and I have both been guilty on multiple occasions of goig to another trash can (bathroom at our house) and trash cans at others places only to catch ourselves holding trash just above it waiting for them to open as if we're waiting on a butler to assist us. Haha. It sometimes opens for me when I simply get to close to it as though it can't wait to be at my beck and call. Now that's service.
