Great trash can. The design allows the trash bag to fill completely. The design allows the trash bag to be removed without any hangups as there are no lips or anything that will grab the bag as you remove it. Definitely recommend this product.

Great I would definitely buy again good price long lasting

I never thought I would own an "automatic" trash can, but I am surprisingly happy with this one. The lid opens rapidly and closes by itself. I also like the design. It fits perfectly in our kitchen. But, I am still fumbling with inserting a new trash bag. The bag replacement process is a little awkward.

Nice replacement for an old plastic trash can. Takes D batteries, not included. It can be set to hold open if necessary. Has been working great. Easy to put a trash can linner in, with the trim ring. Lucky I saw the sale price and ordered it.

This item brings a smile to my face every time it opens up to eagerly await my latest contribution! My kids actually go looking for items from their rooms that need to be thrown out. What more could you ask for?

This is a great quality trash can. Feels really well made and sturdy, not cheap at all. The motion sensor works well as well. Not immediate you have to hover over it for a second, but it's still convenient and easy to get used to. The price is a bit high for a trash can but it's far better than having a plastic can that will break after a while.

The motion sensor works well, deducting 1 star due to the manual mode functionality. The manual mode only allows you to keep the lid open for an extended period of time. Once you press the button to close the lid, the motion sensor reactivates.

I got a best buy deal few weeks back where the price came down under $50 including tax. In this price point it is a very good purchase I say. The setup is easy and also very easy to use.

Perfect size, haven’t had any technical problems, just what I needed. The sensor is a little sensitive so don’t have any unwanted motion happening anywhere above it, but otherwise a great trash can for the value!

I like it so far. Sensor to open is not too sensitive, but opens well. I’ll have to see how long the battery lasts (and the motor). The next 2 years are covered being a total tech member so the motor not much of a concern.

Waited several months before reviewing. I was apprehensive spending more on a trash can than I normally would, but I'm spoiled at this point. After several months of use, it's still on the first set of batteries, and my wife and I have both been guilty on multiple occasions of goig to another trash can (bathroom at our house) and trash cans at others places only to catch ourselves holding trash just above it waiting for them to open as if we're waiting on a butler to assist us. Haha. It sometimes opens for me when I simply get to close to it as though it can't wait to be at my beck and call. Now that's service.

I love this thing! You walk by it and it opens up waiting for you. My blind mother has loved this feature, as well. She knows when she gets close it’ll open up for her and she can have her hands full.

The trash can is attractive and has a sleek and modern appearance. It has a battery-operated lid that is motion detected. This offers convenience and satisfies the need to conceal unsightly trash.

For the cost, this trashcan is awesome! Its pretty responsive at opening up when you need to throw something away, it never opens on accident when walking by, AND, if you are like me and enjoy shooting your trash from across the kitchen there is an overide button on it that when pressed keeps the can lid open! Ever time i change the garbage bag and its fresh, i press the button to leave the lid open. One more thing, trash bags fill ALL the way with literally no room to spare, so no wasted bag space!!

I really like this trash can, the material perfectly matches with the other stainless steel appliances. The door operates smoothly and quietly. The only thing I don’t like is the sensitivity, so put it somewhere that doesn’t have much traffic.

Been using this for about 6 months and havent had to change the batteries yet. The sensor has been very consistent and reliable. I never had to wave my hand more than once for the lid to open.

It's wonderful to have a self opening closing garbage can trash can because sometimes my hands are a mess from cooking and I don't want to touch anything with my hands it is a real nice convenience

I would buy this again and again. Still running on first set of D batteries (not included). It’s the perfect size also.

It does the job, but is annoying sometimes as the lid opens a seemingly random times. It’s easy to change bags and perfect for a bathroom.

Have had for several months now and am really happy with it. Our old plastic foot control lid opening pail had broken months before this purchase. I saw this in deal of the day and thought it was worth a try. Glad I did. The only quirky thing is that if the sensor doesn't remain triggered, it will close on you when you're emptying something like a pot of stuff you need to scrape or a vacuum cup. I learned how to work with it, but the reality is 90% of the use is quick opens to drop garbage in and go. The C size batteries seem to be lasting forever. Original set from 6+ months ago are still going albeit it a little slower. Putting bags in is a little bit of a chore if you want to use the ring that hides the bag from sight. Overall nice to have a touchless system to avoid nasty crud build up.
