The lid does sometimes open while walking by it but its motion sensing so its expected.

We liked it.

My 13-gallon trash bag fits fine over the mouth of the trash can. It is a nice size, not too big. It operates with batteries, so I can place the bin anywhere.

Works well and after having a small plastic can that was short and had to be unlatched, this is such a pleasure to use. Larger capacity and don't need any hands to operate.

Note: its more of a process replacing & pulling filled bags than my last can, but not a deal breaker. The sensor is very sensitive, My Golden learned quick he can put noise near sensor & can opens.. tries to snag scraps we toss.
