Then i noticed glitches. The lid wouldnt go down all the way or wouldn’t open all the way up. I used the recommended batteries and took care of it but it just didn’t last long. I contacted manufacturer and BB and both really weren’t any help. Just moved on to something different.

Bought dollar tree batteries for it and it's still going strong. Love the sensor and the way it opens. Doesn't rub up against the wall everyone it opens too. Great addition to any smart home.

We liked it.

The lid does sometimes open while walking by it but its motion sensing so its expected.

My 13-gallon trash bag fits fine over the mouth of the trash can. It is a nice size, not too big. It operates with batteries, so I can place the bin anywhere.
