It worked perfectly for the first few months but then the motor went out and the lid would no longer lift even though you could hear the sensor working. Since I’m a TotalTech member they swapped it out for me and the new one is still going strong so far. I really like having a touchless trash can when it works.

After a few weeks, the lid won't open all the way. Made sure it was clean, nothing in the rim to stop it. Changed the batteries. Still won't open all the way.
