I have been using this this trash can for a couple of months and I haven’t had any issues with the sensor or the trash can itself. I would love to get another one of this.

Have tried many sensor based trash cans before buying this and they used to stop working after few days but not this one. Worth the money

It is in fact, a automatic trash can. It holds my 13 gallon bags nice and snug. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because the bottom of the trash can screeches loud when moving it on a tile floor and the metal bin itself feels a little flimsy, but that’s not really a problem functionality wise. Batteries seem to last a decent amount of time. I’m still on my first set of D batteries and I’ve used it for over 3 months and it doesn’t seem to be getting slower yet.

I really like this automatic trash can. I purchased it when it was on sale. It was a great deal! Hands free is great for when your hands are full or messy.

The trash can looks very nice, the lid opens and closes automatically, and it is easy to put a plastic bag inside of the trash can.

Perfect, good size trash can. Just had to buy batteries.

Very good value for the sale price of $40. Works fine. Took one star from perfect because the battery was not included.

I was skeptical about owning one of these automatic garbage cans because of the sensor not recognizing but it has been very responsive. Not one miss. Very happy with my purchase.

Works great and the size is excellent. We will save money on garbage bags because the size allows us to fill them up more before taking out.

Overall this is a great trash can. It's a good size, the lid operation is quiet and it does a great job of holding the trash bag while allowing you to completely fill up the bag. My only complaint, and it is a minor complaint, is that the delay for opening the lid is just a hair too long. I think it takes a full one - two seconds to register and open the lid. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it would be perfect if it opened just a half second quicker. It doesn't seem like much but I find myself having a hard time getting used to the timing.

Excellent design, totally functional Just swipe your hand and opens lid automatically!

Very nice and stylish, we love the automatic opening, the only down side is that uses batteries, it should've been plug and charge
