Perhaps I am simply not a fan of automatic trash cans...there is a lag with the lid responding, so you don't stand there for a sec or so waiting to get the garbage inside the darn thing.

It's solid quality and does the job it's supposed to do. I wouldn't expect anything more or less from a garbage can. I will say, I got this for around $25 because of a sale and having some rewards. I don't know if I would pay $70+ for it, but that's just my preference since I don't think a garbage can is worth that much.

It is convenient to toss your trash. If your hands are full, no problem, wave your arm across the lid and it opens for you & closes. I really enjoy this product more than thought I would. It's Great!
