There are mainly 3 things I like about this can: 1. It open fast and close slow. I like this because I sometimes throw the trash on lid when the old Can close too fast. 2. It uses 2 D batteries. I feel it last longer than AA batteries. It last about 1 months for my kitchen. 3. The lid is designed well with wider open. This help avoid trash on the edge.

Cool Trash Can

It takes a couple of D batteries (not included) to use the sensor. Currently, I just hit the open button and leave the lid open until I can find a better location to utilize the hand wave (over the sensor) to work properly.
