Was a problem from day one

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First problem was the batteries in the back wouldnt stay put and i ended up having to put a piece of paper rolled up to hold them into place to keep the lid working. Then not even 1 year later i had to toss the can and the lid because it just refused to work anymore. Spend a bit more and get a better built one you’ll be happier …

Wish exchange goes smooth but so far struggling to get it exchanged. Poor quality and so far not sure I'll get it exchanged. Cannot return due to rewards use on order. It says warranty on it so need to verify that too.

This trash can gets the simple job done right. The sensor picks up as expected and opens the lid quickly. The 1-button operation to keep the lid open when needed is great. I opened and installed batteries the day it was received and they haven't needed to be replaced yet while being used as the kitchen trash in a home with 4 kids.

It's actually by battery so more portable than I expected. This is my first sender trash can and it sometimes opens by clothes when i just walk by. I guess It's unfair to call this a side effect as it's doing the EXACT sender thing. Something to be aware of for first time user!
