It was on sale at least, just not what I expected.

If the trash can has to be visible, at least it looks nice. I have been using this for a couple of weeks and love the touch free feature.

Exterior is a nice stainless and that has good structure. The lip and the actual opening mechanism leave something to be desired. There is a plastic rim that you're supposed to wrap a plastic bag over, but it really becomes more cumbersome than useful (a pain actually). The lid motion detector works well, but the servo died on us after only 2 months. Part of the lever mechanism is made of cheap plastic and broke off on its own. Great size, but horrible execution. Imagine some people still have working ones, but it was too cheap to be true. Would avoid.
