Trash can won’t open

IT ISN'T THE HIGHEST OF QUALITY FOR THE OPENING MECHANISM. IT IS SLEEK AND DOES LOOK NICE COMPARED TO MY OLDER TRASH CAN.

The lid is quick and quiet but the sensor can be affected by ambient lignt so sometimes you need to swipe an extra time or two to make the lid open. Battery life is better than expected so far. Can includes an internal trim ring that secures the bag and keeps it out of sight for a clean look.

I assumed it would have been powered through a plug/usb or something. Overall it is functional and at the flash sale price a bargain comparatively speaking.

However, it is smaller than I anticipated. Also, change the trash bag is cumbersome to change. You have to take this plastic ring off, put the plastic bag through it, then put the bag and plastic ring in the can.
