I picked this automatic trash can so I don’t have to touch the lid when I throw trash while cooking. So far so good. I got a good deal on the Deal of the day. Make sure u have 3 D batteries to operate the automatic lid opener

Pretty good quality trash can. Got it on sale and gave it a go. If I would’ve payed the full price I would’ve returned it, due to the size. It is smaller than my previous kitchen trash bin. It’ll do in between switches.

not a bad trashcan and serves its purpose but I don't think I need the auto feature so its a bit of an inconvenience to manually lift it up from the side each time I need throw trash away

At best it is functional as intended. Insignia via Best Buy have a great warranty on their products. The trash can itself is serviceable and seems to be built solidly.

I love this garbage can! I bought it on sale. I do not have to touch it to open it. That’s great it your hands are full or dirty. It has a great lid/seal so no food will get under your bag. I expect this can to last a long time and stay clean unlike my last couple cans.

I really like this auto trash can. Me and my wife always wanted one. ( Every sense I see one at my friend's house) I really wanted to keep my dog out of the trash can. (Which worked until he figured out how to open it by himself )

This Trash Can is outstanding! It does exactly as advertised. I have absolutely no problem with the lid opening as some Reviewer have described. I put my hand over the sensor and it opens. In fact, it opens with hand over 12 inches above the sensor. The one I have is very sensitive and that's okay with me!

So far so good. No extra interior plastic liner like higher-end models. The electronic eye is sensitive so opens easily but will also open whenever you walk by it. Great deal on sale for $40.

This trash can really makes it easy for me to throw things away. I feel like a real magician when i throw things away. Aside from the occasional mistake of opening it when walking by, im flippin my lid over this trash can

I was skeptical at first since the reviews weren’t that great. Looks smaller but is just as big and holds the same amount of trash. The response sensor is sometimes a little off but if you give it a minute it resets itself. Nice, clean look.

Bought mine several months ago and still haven't had to change the batteries yet. It's very easy to accidently open it while walking by, but otherwise it adds some convenience to the kitchen.

I have had this item for about a month now and it is a great addition to my kitchen. The motion detection feature provides a tight seal and can be set up by the user. The purchase.

Difficult to get one that's not damaged during shipping. Finally got one in good shape and would recommend. The metal of the can could be a little thicker though When ordering choose store pick up and you'll have a better chance of receiving one undamaged.

It is a great size trash can and looks stylish with chrome look. The one part it could us improvement is the door opening and closing can be a little noisy.

This is so excellent trash can. I have this for over a year and stills work perfect . It opens without touching it. Love it

Good handsfree option that took some getting used to based on our previous trashcan. I wish it had an additional plastic insert to make it easier to clean out but still a great trashcan.

So far so good. Functions well. It’s lightweight but sturdy.

Great at first. For the first 3 months, the lever mechanism was smooth. After that, the lid slowly started to have some lag to when it sensed my hand. Later, the lid would only open to like 10 degrees (barely enough to slide a small thing underneath it) and would stop there. I tried replacing the batteries but that didn't help. Unfortunately, it was after the return period so I couldn't return it.

it seems to always work. though i wish it had a liner bin instead of just the bag ring.

Very happy with this trash can, great quality and looks great. Convenient to use the fact that i dont have to touch it.
