The lid sensor opens upon request and remains opened long enough for touchless contact. The retainer ring holds the trash bag in place for easy removal/replacement. Requires 2 D batteries. Love this purchase!

It is what it is snd does what it's suppose to. Works good. Opens sometimes just walking by it but all in all a good buy ans it was 1/2 off when i bougjt it so A++

We bought 2 one for recycling and one for trash. One issue is our dog has learned to wave her snout over the top and the kids opens! We turn it backwards when we aren’t home :)

Hope it lasts many years to come. Just cheaply made with cheap parts.

Top comes off easily so you can change the bag. Bag is easily hidden when you put the top back on. Motion detector is effective and opening and closing mechanism works flawlessly. The entire container is easy to clean.

It does what it’s supposed to do and it does it well. Looks nice too. The sensor is sensitive so if you walk by the can often, it will raise often but that’s better than the alternative.

Funny, my talk dog, when he walks buy the Gatta can, the sensor will open the door. This is why we needed a gall gag age can, who would TNL MJ the sensor is that sensitive to a dog…..

And the dimensions make it fit perfectly in the kitchen like a tetris piece lol. Did have to purchase batteries for it, but I just got them from Best Buy online too ;)
