YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE ANYWHERE AND I HAVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE. IT IS NOT ONLY A GOOD BUY BUT THE QUALITY IS OUTSTANDING. I REALLY LOVE THIS AUTO OPENING CAN AND THE STAINLESS STEEL LOOK GREAT.

And now I have to put my trash can in the trash. It stopped working. The red light went on and I replaced the batteries and now the lid only opens 1 inch. Called insignia and warranty is 1year, so there is nothing they can do. So if you want something that lasts a while don't buy this product. It was great for 1 year and 2 months. They also said there were no replacement parts for this item, so you cant even fix it or replace the whole lid. Now if you don't mind it only lasting a month or 2 after warranty then it would be fine.

We had a one with a foot pedal, but that wore out. This fits perfectly under our kitchen counter.

I went to order a second one for recyclable materials, but they are not out of stock. The batteries seem to last a while. I've had mine for nearly 3 months and have not had to change them yet.

I can’t say it’s worth regular retail, but if you can get it on sale sometime, totally worth it!

Not working right

Now the lid doesn’t even open with brand new batteries. Can this be replaced? Not sure if this is defective or if everyone is having this issue.

We use the 13 gallon for our recycling and have 2 smaller ones for the bathrooms. I also gave one to my daughter and her family are really happy with it.
