This may sound weird but this is one of my favorite things in my home. It arrived with no scratches or dents and was easy to set up. Doesn’t let odor escape. I’ve recommended this trash can to friends and family.

I love love love this trash can. You can have both hands full and still open this trash can with just a wave of a hand. It is very easy to keep clean and looks great in my kitchen with my other stainless appliances.

There are reviews that say the lid is flimsy, the lid opens when one just walks by, and the opening lid makes noise. I do not think the lid is flimsy, the lid does not open unless my hand is in close proximity, and there is absolutely no noise when the lid opens. I hesitated to purchase this Automatic Trash Can because of some of the negative reviews, but I am very glad I decided to try it for myself. Perhaps some people received trash cans that had the problems stated above, but I am not one of those people. I highly recommend this Trash Can.

Easy assembly, easy to operate. Nice size. Torally worth it. Looks great with all the upgraded kitchen appliances.

Batteries last a long time. Easy to clean stainless exterior. Ring to conceal plastic bag. Motion sensor works from just the right distance as well, and has a hold feature for when you need the lid open for an extended period of time.

I love this trash can, It is nice when your hands are dirty and are cooking but need to throw scraps in the trash, love the lid keeps the smells and other stuff in the trash

Worth it on deal of the day sale. Operates as designed. Good looking. Matches my stainless steel appliances. Does a good job of keeping smell contained. 13 gallons more than adequate for my use.

I bought this when it was a "deal of the day," and I have no regrets. I will admit that the motion activated lid seems like a pointless luxury, but it's really nice when you when you want to put something in the trash without struggling to hold open the lid on a trash can at the same time. The motion sensor is very sensitive and sometimes opens when I walk too close to the trash can, but it's a small price to pay for the convenience. The design of the can is very nice, in that the bag is held in place very effectively and doesn't drape over the side of the can.

I bought this because it is very stylish even though its going in the kitchen to hold trash. I like the size and its perfect for kmy itchen. Its easy to use and easy to change trash bags.

Nice size for any room size quick and fast opening and closing holds garbage bags snug Insignia has nice products and this garbage can looks expensive for the price it's worth buying.

excellent . makes noise when opening but at the price who cares. just put it somewhere you won’t be waving your arm over a lot. it looks good, doesn’t smell. happy with my purchase

live the design, look, and total hands free operation of this trash can. works perfectly and the price was great. highly recommend

I really love this automatic trash can! So easy to set up and use just add two D size batteries and you are ready to go. No more messy lids with the automatic opening feature.

Nice trashcan for an open space. I wanted something to compliment the area and not add to it. It meets that need. It does make a sound upon opening and closing, it is low; however, noticeable. My daughter dubbed it the puppy. With that being said, I would buy again. *Note: it does take batteries that are easy to change out/replace. There is also a button to manually open/close.

Been having this trash can for about a month, very happy with it. I upgraded from a the step ones to this Very easy to remove the bag the can has holes in the bottom!

We love having an automatic lid on the trash can. It’s very helpful when cooking or if your hands are full. The lid however just stops working sometimes but Best Buy has been great with exchanging it (so long as it’s within the manufacturers 1 year warranty). Overall still a great trashcan! We did get the trash can when it was on sale so in our opinion it was a great value!

We love this product. Good size and shape and easy to use.

I'm usually not a fan of the Isignia brand. My wife came across this trashcan on sale at Best Buy and thought it would work well in our kitchen. I purchased the can online and waited a few days for the item to be available for pick up. We put the can right to work and have been vert satisfied with the performance. I would recommend being thoughtful with the placement of the trashcan. The lid will open if you walk to close to it. We have placed ours further away from foot traffic.

At first we loved this garbage can but the love was short lived. It became more frustrating than convenient. More often than not, you’d have to stand in front of the van waving your hand trying to get it to open and sometimes it would take so long you’d just end up hitting the button trying to get it to just open as you’re holding garbage in hand trying not to spill it. Another frustrating thing is the lid doesn’t stay open. So if you’re peeling an apple for example, you can’t stand over the garbage and do it, you have to do it over a paper towel then take the scraps to the garbage and wave your hand until it opens. It got to the point that we would just leave the top off at dinner time. And now, less than a year of owning it, it doesn’t even open anymore. We’ve changed the batteries and that’s not it. Maybe it’s from us constantly pushing the button to open it. Not sure. All I know is, we are now shopping for a new garbage can.
