Terrible sensor

Do not wave your hand or rubbish above the sensor. The right gesture is placing your hand over the sensor for 1 second, then the lid will open. The sensor is located between the indicator light and the Open/Close button.

This product falls apart too easily. The lid's mechanism works using a little strip of plastic, both of my lids broken within 3 months.

Stopped working all of sudden, tried to change batteries but no luck. Actually, batteries lasted longer than this product!!

I asked the associate to open it up before I took it. Glad I did, trash can had a dent on it. Requested refund! Looks like they tossed the box around!

Best Buy will not accept the return, so have to go through the manufacturer.
