It will automatically release the lock after up to 20mins! The key wont open it you have to wait for the release it does on its own! So frustrating! I called they keep giving me the run around even though im still under warranty. Its been months now ive called several times and i still have this catastrophe in my house! Do better!!! Its supposed to be BEST BUY not WORSE BUY!!!
