    Freezer getting cold but not freezing, only ran 3 times for about 8 hours. Going to run 12 hours and see how cold.

    Only appliance I've bought and get no help fixing it. Told I can bring it in to possibly get it fixed by "the geek squad" what a joke, thats just plan crazy

    The light went out the very next day after delivery. This was communicated twice, and no one has taken care of it yet. The freezer was delivered with a deny, in which i also communicated, and nothing was done about it, as well.

    This is the most cheapest quality I have ever purchased.less than 2 years the compressor went bad. They have no warranty on their products.

    Quit working In first 2 months. Best Buy won’t fix and to get insignia to do anything will take 2 months. When I have food going bad.

    Light does not work after a few months

    We bought the freezer at the end of August 2023 and by November 2023 the light has gone out. Hopefully Best Buy or the manufacturer will repair the light. This must be a lower end freezer.

    Freezer Upgrade

    This was an upgrade to our older/smaller freezer which we were having problems with trying to find what we needed. Now we can actually see what we have as this is twice the size we had before. We also like the light inside so we can see even more! We are very pleased

    Brand new out the box the freezer didn’t not work at all wouldn’t get cold it took them about a week to get me a new one

    Perfect Garage Unit

    This chest freezer has been with us the past year and it has made such a difference for saving during these tough times and prepping food at home for the whole family. Really good size for packing in a ton of food and keeping it for long term storage. We haven't had any issues with the freezer and even ice buildup has been quite minimal. We live in a dry environment with low humidity. Summers get up to 109 degrees but our garage holds in the upper 80s in the summer and I have not heard the compressor struggling to keep temperature. The nice thing with these units is that when you open them, you don't have the amount of cold air escaping as you would a vertical fridge, since cold hair is heavy and sits at the bottom of the chest freezer. Insignia has been coming into the market with some good quality products at much more attractive prices and we love it. We hope we have this thing for many years to come. Highly recommend having one in the garage for families that cook!

    Love, love, love this freezer! It works wonderfully and is much roomier than I expected. Ordered it right before the holidays and delivery was super fast. I highly recommend this freezer. Especially when it’s on sale. It’s affordable! Most other brands elsewhere were two to four hundred dollars more expensive.

    We've got 4 of these. They're reasonably priced and do what you want them to do. Only change I'd suggest is the temperature control locks the top for long enough to do 3 dances, deliver a Shakespearean monologue, and bake a round of biscuits. If you need to get in and out a lot, it's a pain. Other than that, they're great.

    Freezer received quickly through BestBuy delivery and without any damage. Friednly delivery personnel helped unload and locate my freezer in garage. The freezer was quick and easy to setup with clear instructions on installing the handle and lock. After 3 weeks now the freezer has been working perfectly. Very happy with the purchase. Thanks.

    A great unit at a great price

    First of all, the price of the unit was very good, about the same as other units half of this size. More importantly, the quality is superb. It is so quiet that I thought it wasn't even running. The advertised low temperature range is minus 11, but this unit easily runs at around minus 20. I am very happy with this purchase.

    I waited 24 hours before plugging it in and didn't put anything in it for 12. I bought freezer totes for organization. Everything seems to be running smoothly and it's very quiet since I let it sit before turning it on.
