A big part of my buying decision was the autodefrost, as many smaller fridges and freezers are manual defrost, and I didn't want the hassle. Both compartments have a lot of good useable space, which is a definite bonus. The freezer is very cold, and spacious for a small fridge. The fridge section has been challenging for the 1.5 weeks I've had the unit. I started the fridge and freezer on the "recommended" setting, which is midpoint of the dial(s). However, the recommended setting froze everything in the fridge, and several canned sparkling waters burst inside. (yay, another clean up job!) Even on the lowest setting "cold", the fridge is freezing stuff. Having a lot of things in the fridge might be helping it not freeze, but the bowl of water I keep to monitor in the fridge is nonetheless freezing over and the fridge thermometer shows its too cold. I will continue to monitor the fridge temps and decide if I need to return it. Delivery by Best Buy was fine and uneventful, however if you want the fridge doors switched, you have to arrange that ahead of time.

Just went bad, so I lost cost of freezer and $500 worth of frozen goods. Makes me very fearful about this Fridge. I did buy the five year warrenty, but hope it's quality is better than freezers, as it is never easy nor convient to get warrenty fufilled. Salesman talked me into it, was going to buy LG.
