I needed a power supply for an old keyboard and it works very well. You're given several tips, two of them worked for my keyboard. One fit slightly better than the other; however, they both stick out slightly, but that doesn't seem like it'll cause any harm. The adapter does have a blue light on the bottom of it that is very bright. I had to put some gaffer tape over it so it wouldn't be annoying at night.

I searched far and wide for specific adapters that didn't sound like it was coming from another country that would deliver a cheap version. Works great.

Very basic multi-DC power adapter

We had no way of knowing the voltage, but this device has a switch from 3v to 12v. (Turns out it was 5v.) Works great.

So I went to Bestbuy and I ask for help. This told me about Insignia and just like that my hard drive powered up. Works like a champ.
