It works fine, but would be more suitable for someone who needs to power a number of different units.

The plug to my Verizon router was bad and I had to have internet. I took the plug in with me and this was the closest thing they had. To my relief it had the exact size I needed included. I'm so thankful!

Kinda hard to know wattage and polarization things the plug requires you to do. The items I tried did not work but I think it was them being broken and not the plug

It had a myriad of options by which to connect a device to an ax outlet. I thought I would need to purchase a completely new Rock 3 merely because the ax adaptor had shorted out but this was a $20 fix.

It was however not the fault of the adapter but of the user. The adapter would power the light but not at full power. I have no doubt that this adapter will do its job if you know what you need beforehand.

My battery usage was costing me dearly. Having been a heavy user of rechargeable batteries in the past, I didn't want to repeat that hassle.
