At the regular $39, this Insignia isn’t worth it. It’s feels very cheap and light, and the nonslip feet are useless. There are better options for wireless charging pads at $39. And the cable is extremely short. Does it do the job? Yes. Is it worth it at full price? No.

Couple of points to call out: It has it's own dedicated power adapter, not a USB-C or another standard charging port, which I find inconvenient if you want to move between rooms or into the car. The second point is that it's not completely consistent during the charging. As an example, I might go to sleep with the phone charging only to find in the morning that the cycle stopped at some point. Lastly, a minor point. The desk footprint is somewhat bigger than I've seen on other models, but not a big deal.
