I was initially impressed that it worked through the case. It was a little difficult to find the spot to charge and stay charging. Then after a month, I couldn’t get it to charge. My wife has the same set up and hers will work on this charger. I think it did something to my phone.

He has it set up right next to his favorite recliner so he can watch cable news and yell at the TV. Now, when he's particularly outraged and needs to call me about something, his phone is never in danger of running out of steam. This setup was considerably less costly than "Brand A" (rhymes with Snapple) by the way...
