He just lays his new phone on it and it charges the phone. He usually puts it on before he goes to bed, so his phone is always charged. So simple, because you do not need to plug the phone into it. You can be lazy and just lay it on top! He loves it!

If I set my phone on the charger then it gets moved just a bit and I didn’t notice, I can have my phone sitting on the charger for an hour but it doesn’t charge. That is very annoying.

I still reach for my regular charger. I usually use my phone when going to sleep, and it is running low on battery, so I need to be able to use and charge. Works as intended, just not my thing.

No audible noise when the charger was empty, only when charging. Unfortunately i wanted it for my nightstand so it wont work, but it would peobably be fine for an entry way or living room.
