I say this because most of the newer vehicles come equipped with some sort of docking mechanism for Apple or Android products. So this product for me was redundant. Also the price for a similar item can be found a bit cheaper. However, if you need one this one has a neat, clean, sharp appearance in your car's dashboard.

When my husband and I travel, we can charge our "I-devices" at the same time. When I'm on my own, I can use it to charge both my iPad and iPhone. I've had this charger about 6 weeks.
