It's direct in USB plugs are much more conveniant than my old 4way that had to be pluged in from the side.

It also comes in handy when I am traveling with another person and they need to charge one of their devices.

It's great so that you can bring your own USB cable since the other end that hooks into the phone is always changing (micro USB to USB-C or Lightning or whatever Apple comes up with next...)

This has worked for more than a week, so that is a plus. I am using this to power an iPhone 8 Plus and it keeps up the charge, even when running a GPS navigation application and a music playing app at the same time.

They're typically not too expensive and charge reliably and quickly. All my auto gadgets have a USB port built-in, but I prefer to be prepared for pretty much anything. Also, for any rear passengers in need, a couple longer cables can keep the whole road trip glued to their phones and tablets indefinitely! No pics included this time as it honestly looks exactly as portrayed on the site.
