I needed a car charger would keep my phone charged while I use the Waze app.

Great for use in the car when there are passengers who need to charge their phone.

This is a no brainer and necessity for a phone to ensure one has power to the phone.

Got this for a cross country trip to keep phone charged while streaming Pandora through auxiliary port in car (no blutooth). Worked great to charge phone. Does get a bit hot but not excessively. Biggest problem was that while phone was plugged into charger there was a loud humming or buzzing coming through the car speakers. When phone was unplugged from charger the noise went away and the Pandora music was perfect over the car speakers. This forced us to listen to Pandora until the phone battery ran down, then disconnect the phone from the auxiliary port, put the phone on the charger until it charged (which it did fairly quickly), then take off charger and reconnect phone to auxiliary port to listen to Pandora some more through the car speakers. Can't say if this was the fault of the charger, the phone (Galaxy S5), the auxiliary cable or the car auxiliary port. Anyway we worked around it with 30-40 minutes of FM radio every 4-5 hours. Just would have been nice not to have to worry about it at all. Haven't tried it on Blutooth so no idea if that would have the same problem.

Glad the store still had this. My iPad Air has a little age on it and this is the only keyboard they had that would work with it.

I bought this because I was at 5% and traveling I tossed my phone on the charger and was at 30% in 10 minutes. I love that if I have a friend in the car we can both use it at the same time. I have had 2 others that didn't work in my car at all but I guess they had been made cheap.
