We purchased this fridge/freezer combo for a second fridge - this one to be kept in the basement. It's not the biggest, or the fanciest, but it keeps things cold (and really cold in the freezer). There are two drawers for produce. There is lots of space in the door as well. Only really notable difference than past refrigerators that I have owned is that the shelves are wire and not solid glass or plastic. This doesn't matter to me, but it might be worth knowing before buying.

When my last refrigerator failed, I went in search of a replacement. When I settled on a replacement, I was told that it was backordered for months. But there was another refrigerator that was available within a couple of days. So, I settled on that unit. Is was modestly priced but to date has served to keep my food in good shape. Only time will tell if that persists over a long period of time.

Great size for an apartment. It got cold right away and it’s very quiet compared to others. It doesn’t come with an ice maker but there’s an option to add one.

This is a base model so there’s not much to gush about. However, it is a decent unit for the price. Overall it’s solid and not too short. The primary disadvantage is the wire shelves. We knew this before purchasing so I won’t knock it but just be aware. The wires can be a pain with cans, bottles, or other tall items with small bases.

Great small economy refrigerator. Works great for extra freezer and beverage storage.

We were looking for an inexpensive refrigerator for our fishing cabin. This frig seems to cool and freeze okay , however, we noticed that the outside of the refrigerator gets very hot. I thought I wouldn't mind wire shelving but the spaces in the wire are too far apart. Objects have to be quite wide to stand upright.

The Insignia top-freezer refrigerator is perfect for my needs; it is the right size and the price is affordable.

I was skeptical upon reading a lot of these early reviews but I purchased anyway for a basement rental we have. We couldn't look away from the low price so we took a chance with the fridge and the 3yr extended warranty. 6 weeks in no problems. The bad seal reviews must have been on earlier models this one has a vacuum type seal that stays shut and requires a lil effort to open and the doors stay closed when you close either door. There are no cat like, groaning or moowing sounds from the motor or condenser. Just typical fridge type sounds at very low decibels. It has a daylight led light inside 6500k which I prefer than the soft white old fashioned hue. It does have grate type shelves but they have minimal spacing so it accommodates soda cans, beer bottles ect. Pat the extra and have it delivered and installed, let them have the liability of getting it in and setup. Motor is at a vulnerable spot so if your not careful getting it in, you will damage it. It dents easy so be careful, getting it in. Make sure it is level with a slight lean backwards. It takes about 12hrs to get fully cooled. Take frozen produce ect and put in the freezer in about 6hrs to accelerate the process. Along with water bottles in the fridge. If any of these negatives in the reviews show up, you'de probably see them in a day or 2. The seal ect would be immediate so you would know right away. Overall we are pleased with the purchase and the price. Perfect for small spaces, garages, rentals and 2nd units

My 20+ year old apartment fridge was on a slow demise, and I knew I had to act soon. I researched several refrigerators from local stores and this one seemed the best value based on reviews and price. It's been almost a month and I'm totally happy with it, Great size and storage capacity, quiet, and cools and freezes perfectly. I suppose time will tell but I'm very happy with this purchase.

So far so good! We bought this on sale as our secondary fridge as we have 6 people in the house and needed more space. This sucker fits a lot in both the fridge and the freezer. We've had it continuously plugged in and running since the day we got it over a month ago and absolutely zero increase in our electric bill. Always a bonus. The delivery crew was COVID safe, on time, fast set up, kind, & knowledgeable. They were able to set it up exactly where I needed it. No complaints.

Great refrigerator. Cools well. Freezer is very speciation. This is my secondary refrigerator to store extra things like nuts and sometimes flour so it is preserved fora longer time. I want to give 5 stars and would have give 4 and a half as well. Only reason for 4 starts is its doors. Both the freezer and refrigerator door does not close quick. It has to be pushed in the last 2 inches.

During the first delivery, the fridge was damaged and had to wait another few days for new delivery. The fridge looks great and is not bad for the price!

I purchased a new house and needed a new fridge. This was the perfect size and price. Very happy with the purchase.

We needed a small refrigerator to use in a hurray as our 5yr old Kenmore had just "died"! We lost about $400 or more in food and couldn't get a repair man out for 3 weeks. After a lot of searching of other brand name refrigerators, we decided on the Insignia due to the size, cost and the reliability of the brand name.
