I purchased a new house and needed a new fridge. This was the perfect size and price. Very happy with the purchase.

After setting everything up and plugging it in, the fridge was working as stated. It took a few days, but eventually the temperature inside the fridge and freezer were just the way I like it and everything seemed great. Unfortunately, a huge problem arose after the first day. The outside temperature of the fridge's side were extremely hot to the touch, almost to the point were I felt like I was about to get a burn. This had me very concern about how long the fridge would last even though it was cooling my food just fine. It was only hot when the compressor was running and cool to the touch when it was off, but nevertheless, had me very worried over the next week. After discussing with Insignia support, I feel like it was best to return it and grab another brand (I went with GE to match my stove). Ultimately, I not sure I can recommend this fridge. The insides do a great job on keeping food cool/frozen, but the hot sides should give you pause. I can only recommend getting it if your fridge's sides stay cool/warm to the touch like it should.

We were able to have the doors reversed before delivery. Which we recommend to be done at all times rather than at the customer's residence, to ensure that the doors fit properly. On the previous orders the door when reserved after delivery, they did not seal. We like the handle on this model and the glass shelves. The installers were excellent and did a good job. They were very professional and considerate and ensured that we were totally satisfied with the refrigerator and the installation.

Needed an a second refrigerator for water and large trays for big dinners. It's in the garage and a perfect fit. Great price...fits my needs

It has lots of room and is easy to find items in. It will be very easy to keep clean.

Has grate-style shelves rather than solid/glass shelves, but it's a minor matter and bit enough to detract from the rating. Great value!

I was skeptical upon reading a lot of these early reviews but I purchased anyway for a basement rental we have. We couldn't look away from the low price so we took a chance with the fridge and the 3yr extended warranty. 6 weeks in no problems. The bad seal reviews must have been on earlier models this one has a vacuum type seal that stays shut and requires a lil effort to open and the doors stay closed when you close either door. There are no cat like, groaning or moowing sounds from the motor or condenser. Just typical fridge type sounds at very low decibels. It has a daylight led light inside 6500k which I prefer than the soft white old fashioned hue. It does have grate type shelves but they have minimal spacing so it accommodates soda cans, beer bottles ect. Pat the extra and have it delivered and installed, let them have the liability of getting it in and setup. Motor is at a vulnerable spot so if your not careful getting it in, you will damage it. It dents easy so be careful, getting it in. Make sure it is level with a slight lean backwards. It takes about 12hrs to get fully cooled. Take frozen produce ect and put in the freezer in about 6hrs to accelerate the process. Along with water bottles in the fridge. If any of these negatives in the reviews show up, you'de probably see them in a day or 2. The seal ect would be immediate so you would know right away. Overall we are pleased with the purchase and the price. Perfect for small spaces, garages, rentals and 2nd units

Always liked and trusted Insignia brand by Best Buy Over the years (actually decades) I have purchased many items branded Insignia I still have most ( if not all of them today). Hopefully this will last as long as those . I previously purchased a mini fridge from Best Buy and it works great, I just needed something bigger. I love this refrigerator and unless you really want to shell out the extra $100 or so for a name brand, I encourage you to buy this one.

If you need a small refrigerator for your basement or home this is a great refrigerator. And it’s very economical. You can’t beat the price.

Needed a inexpensive refrigerator until the big move. This waa a great buy. The guys who dropped it off was great. Only bad thing I would say is DO NOT PURCHASE THE DISPOSABLE of old refrigerator FOR $25. This is when they take your old refrigerator and just put it out by your trash. Unless you have a stainless, or physically unable to do so. It is not worth the extra cost.

My 20+ year old apartment fridge was on a slow demise, and I knew I had to act soon. I researched several refrigerators from local stores and this one seemed the best value based on reviews and price. It's been almost a month and I'm totally happy with it, Great size and storage capacity, quiet, and cools and freezes perfectly. I suppose time will tell but I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great refrigerator big to put a lot of food in and have enough space to organize it all. That's both the refrigerator and freezer.

Easy to install handles and set-up. Frig got cold fast. The 18 Cu Ft is just right for extra cold space for a small household.

This is perfect 2nd Fridge . Keeps everything cold easy to stock full . Very simple exactly what I was looking for as our 2nd fridge. It does make a strange moaning sound after you close it but we are very happy with it so far and it is great for what we needed. I really like the shelf spacing it actually fits so much than huge side by side we had been using.

Not sure what happened, but the freezer simply stopped working. Unfortunately I didn’t figure it out until it started to smell (this is a secondary refrigerator/freezer that we keep in the garage.). After cleaning it up and plugging it back in, it has been working for the past month without a problem, but, I am too unsure of it’s reliability to put much in it. Good price, though.

This refrigerator works very well and was a great buy at $399! The only drawback is that it has wire shelves, so bottles and jars tend to tip over. I’m going to put a sheet of plexiglass on the shelves, which should solve that problem pretty easily! Door storage is great, but there’s no deli drawer. Overall a decent bargain fridge!
