Horrible customer support. Buy a different fridge

I asked the guy to switch it as they had to remove it to place it to its final location. He said he couldn’t do it. No problem. Went to switch it myself and there was no left middle hinge. I called my local Best Buy and got routed to a call center that instructed me to go to the store for the hinge. I told him that the store won’t have it, yet he insisted. Went to the store and guess what, no hinge! Anyways, the guy at the store told me to call Insignia. Insignia sent me the left hinge replacement kit and guess what…no hinge in the kit! I’ve been told for almost 2 months (literally…Not exaggerating) that the left middle hinge will be delivered in 5-6 business days. Now it’s on back order and I’m being told by the escalation dept to just wait for it to come in. No other mitigation strategy offered (bravo customer service). I tried to be a good customer and NOT have Best Buy deliver me a new fridge over a small hinge. It’s a waste of pay for them, and hours. I should’ve done that when offered but that also comes with risks (deliver scratching the walls, delivery windows from 8-5, etc.) Anyways, I have no idea if this fridge works or if it’s good. This entire experience stinks cuz I have a fridge that I paid for yet can’t plug in (cuz a right swing door will not work in my space).

Potentially unsolved hazard averted

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far the Fridge has been good, my only issue is with Best Buy’s customer support, when it was first plugged in, the sides of fridge were VERY HOT so I called and they transferred my call about three times and someone decided that wasn’t normal and to unplug it and we’re coming to get it tomorrow, I researched it myself and it’s pretty normal for some models and they never called, I called them and they knew nothing about my complaint ??? !!! No companies care about anything else except the SELL and that’s it

Very sorry for the trouble. But there are something we want to explain about the side panel temp. This product condenser is attached to the inside of the side panel. The function of condenser is to emitting the heat of refrigerant and conducted by the side panel to air, it does not have safety issue and you just need guarantee there has enough space for side panel to emitting heat.
