    purchased the 3 year warranty. In the freezer there are 2 drawers, one is rolling on metal slides and the other is on a thin plastic that is the lining of the freezer. started wearing away from normal wear and eventually styrofoam beads were in the freezer and then it stopped rolling. this is normal use and clearly wear and tear of rolling out the drawer several times a day to get things. Had geek squad in to fix because I have the warranty and he said it would be replaced, then the next day he said claim was denied. this company doesn't stand by there product and the sides where the plastic drawer rolls on should have been reinforced with metal. JUNK< cant use the freezer

    Don't purchase appliances from best buy

    As soon as we got the fridge out if the box we noticed it had a large dent on one back corner. This makes the fridge unlevel and the dent pushes on what is likely the motor mechanism. We have shems holding it to level it. After calling multiple times without assistance for a replacent we gave up. What a waste of time Over the phone, the representative told us we would need to purchase another fridge and then they would bring that and give a refund on the broken one. This is not how replacements work. We are absolutely not spending another $700 and hoping to get our original $$ back. Not to mention the cost to take off 1/2 a day of work due to someone having to be home for the delivery. Will not buy from best buy again and will not recommend to others. Unacceptable products and unacceptable customer service.

    Noisy replacing for another Same Model

    My refrigerator was delivered yesterday. I replaced my unrepairable Samsung French Door refrigerator with this one. Looks great in my kitchen, but it is not working properly. We let the refrigerator sit over night so the compressor would settle and it has been making loud wailing noises the entire time (over two hours now). I am going to exchange it. So, hopefully this first one I received is just a bad unit or was damaged internally in shipping. Because of this unit I can not recommend it, but I may change my mind when I get the replacement unit.

    Missing part and 3 x later still not right part

    Great fridge but when I went to switch door to open other way the part needed was missing! Called company 3 times and all 3 times the right part was wrong! Looked at reviews on this problem and it seems to be common! Not sure what to do next ! Customer service with company was decent but just are not up front on this issue or what to do when they don’t have the part!

    DO NOT BUY! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

    3 weeks in and it’s not cooling correctly. Fridge is up to 45 degrees while freezer is -6. Then the freezer temps rise and fridge goes down. Nothing is iced over or frozen around ventilation. THREE WEEKS and both Best Buy and Insignia will not offer a refund or even an EXCHANGE. We have 4 children and as most Americans are struggling to get by. I have well over $1000 worth of food in this fridge and the temps just keep going up. They don’t care. Want us to wait days for a tech to come out instead of allowing us to bring it back for store credit to get a higher quality refrigerator. The customer service is shameful. Oh but if we’d paid extra at checkout for some membership apparently then they would have given us a refund. 3 weeks is not ok. 6 months wouldn’t be ok but 3 weeks?! Do not do business here and do not buy an insignia. Cheaper is not better.

    Had problems with product from day one brought a moldy broken product shelves, dented side panels on product please expect your product before receiving it did a great job on customer service care though the process

    Bought it 12/23. Completely unrepairable 7/2025. Spend the extra money and find something better. It was a circuit board that would cost about $300 to replace. FKM.

    We’ve had this refrigerator for less than 6 MONTHS and it has stopped working TWICE! Thankfully we bought the warranty so we had geek squad come out and fix it and now it’s not blowing cold air once again.

    There’s always water in the ice tray . It was a little dented. I think it might have just been maybe in delivery or warehouse but all in all it’s great in storage and stays fresh.

    We have bought 3 items that needed to be installed refrigerator washer dryer 3 separate times all three resulted in headaches the lasted one refrigerator the door was supposed to be reversed they didn't installer said refrigerator was ready to be loaded with no lights on inside pulled refrigerator ot wasn't plugged in still wrapped tuck in back of refrigerator could have lost everything was supposed to be installed techs were rude
