I bought a fridge w/ bottom freezer in the late 1960's, had it for years and loved it (so it's not new idea). Wherever I moved, the fridge was already there (all top freezers). I had forgotten how great the bottom freezer was. This Insignia w/ eye level view of refrigerated foods is perfect. The freezer is very cold. I had been dealing w/ a bad freezer for the last 2 years. The last straw was when ice cream turned to soup! Different situation now. I had this freezer set at '2 stars' but ice cream was like a brick; reduced to '1 star'. Also, some comments re 'pulling door open can be difficult'. Don't pull on side of door. You need to use the 'hand slot' at bottom of door (above the hand hold for the freezer). Works perfectly. This refrigerator is great looking, rarely a fingerprint and if one occurs it disappears w/ swipe of a dishtowel! Great lighting. I only shop once a week - for two - and this fridge has plenty of space. My neighbor has a new 23 cu. ft. side by side and I don't see a big difference in storage space. This fridge seems more efficient. The sale price made it even better.

The refrigerator is working fine. I am trying to get use to having the gallon jug in the door...it seems like it takes up a lot of room from the shelves. I'm trying to get use to not having a handle that sticks out to open the door. The price was really good and I wanted a freezer on the bottom. I did not want the ice maker, but there is no special place to put ice trays in the freezer . I guess I was spoiled with my old refrigerator. I am sure I will get use to this one over time. It runs really quiet and keeps everything cold. I had my old refrigerator for 39 years, so I am hoping this one last for a long time too.

Great item, fit nicely in space. Exactly what the church hospitality was looking for. Plenty of space and the freezer on the bottom is nice. would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a refrigerator.

The only negative aspect of this unit for now, since I’ve only had it for less than a month is that the sides of the unit get quite hot, other than that the unit is very spacious, bright when opened and a great pull out freezer with an extra drawer. Am very happy with this model.

Omg! The best, I’m so happy with my new refrigerator, so roomy,the bottom freezer is great with a tray that slides out, I would recommend this one.

Super cold ! Space saver, and spacious ! Extremely quiet ! Did come with minor damage when delivered but Best Buy customer service was able to provide a gift card for the damage ! Also offered to deliver a new one if preferred ! I went with the gift card as damage could be over seen.
