The shelves and door compartments are a lightweight plastic, but it doesn't seem easily breakable (unless you place an unreasonable amount of weight on a single shelf). The Best Buy delivery crew were on time, quick, and careful. My only gripe is that the handle to open the refrigerator is underneath rather than on the side.

This fridge has so much more space than the previous one that fit the same area. The fridge area is so much more space with the draw freezer on the bottom. No ice maker. But I didn’t want one. The drawers need up be closed carefully and with some intention. I bought extended warranty and am hoping I never have to use it.
