Two Fridges, Both Failed, Same Problem

Both fridges received made a very loud whining noise for an hour at a time, multiple times a day, loud enough to be heard anywhere within our two story home. The first one was returned before it completely failed, the replacement we received made the same sound (I figured maybe this as normal at this point), and has now completely stopped working after about three weeks. I would strongly advise avoiding Insignia products, as we have also purchased a washer of this brand that also completely broke and needed to be replaced after several weeks.

The controls in the upset middle of the refrigerator bottom part hang low enough to obstruct 2 litter so they have to go in either side of control panel.
