My son came along when I purchased it. I almost bought the wrong size. Lucky for me - he picked it and had to convince me this was the better buy based on our needs and it fit perfect where the old fridge stood.

Worst experience buying a refrigerator

So I purchased this fridge after dealing with a few refrigerator nightmares. Instead of waiting for delivery, I decided to pick it up sooner. Upon arriving home, we opened it to find 1 shelf cracked and the storage compartments on the door were all broken! When I called Best Buy they immediately sent a new refrigerator and picked up the broken one. Once I recieved the new fridge, everything was intact. Then about 2 months ago I started hearing a loud whinning sound that would last almost 2 mins. The first technician told me I had to much in my freezer. Because it can only be filled to 80% capacity. But he replaced a fan anyways. Still hearing the sound, even louder now. Another technician comes and says its the drapper (or something like that) door opening and closing. He replaced that part and told me that I shouldn't hear it anymore and if I did it would be hardly noticeable. Well that's a lie! I still hear it.... now what do I do? It's still under warranty til September.

The freezer is a good size and I’m pressed with how much room is inside the refrigerator.

They wouldn’t even try to do it. I asked them numerous times to just attempt and they refused. They said I would get a credit back but I still didn’t see the credit on my account. It’s been over two weeks. I also scheduled a date and Best Buy rescheduled it without my approval and I had to wait even longer with twin toddlers that required dairy for their dietary needs. I had to by milk everyday outside of what I planned based on the original date of delivery which was 48hrs from when I ordered it.

Hopefully makes it to the year mark as my last one did not (not same brand). So far so good. Delivery guys scratched it up pretty bad! Make them take doors off or throw sheet/blanket over it just a tip.

Not able to change direction of door opening

I could not remove them to switch the way the door opens. When I pulled out the power tools ( because it was impossible to do my hand) I was stripping the screws they would not budge. I almost returned the refrigerator because of this but instead I am dealing with the inconvenience of the door swinging in the wrong direction.

Sorry about that. If you could found 8mm T-handle socket wrench, it could be very easy to remove the hinge screw.
