Never buy a large appliance from best buy unless you are taking it home and setting up yourself. We were told by the salesman that we could get it delivered before noon, then we were told that wasnt possible, called, was put on hold for AN HOUR just to be redirected and put on hold for another 30 minutes, then we were told the delivery people are not even through best buy and may not even give us a heads up before they arrive so we wait outside for HOURS, then we are told, THE DAY OF the delivery that it was never even in the store. We were on the phone for two hours and no one we spoke to even MENTIONED it wasnt even ready to deliver until we spoke to the third party delivery service and they said best buy told them it wasnt even there. We now have to reschedule but im wondering if they are even going to deliver it next week or do this again. Unless you want to be ignored and redirected around for hours and be refused ANY communication or transparency from best buy about your order, do NOT have them deliver and install something for you. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I took my measurements in and the salesman said this one would fit in my small kitchen. They could take the doors off to make it fit. Upon delivery the two men who were very good and they showed me that it would not fit, doors on or off. Left in my dining room. I had to pay $1,000. to have the metal door frame removed and repair the opening. Condo I live in was built in the 1940's. I do accept responsibility that the thought of them taking it back and then having to wait for another refrigerator that would fit was too much of a hassle. However since I have owned it I have frost in the freezer. The sounds of chunks of ice sliding down the inside back of the unit. I did not want an ice maker so I know that's not the problem. I have called for service and the women from my extended warranty contacted me to set up a delivery a service date. I have the 1 year manufacturer warranty also. I know the company that is assigned will do their best. I want to know why Best Buy isn't using the manufacture warranty and having their dedicated Insignia repair people look at my fridge? At this point I want to return the unit and purchase one that is smaller. I don't mind paying more as long as I get a refrigerator that works. I wanted to like this one. I will try to contact Insignia to see if they can help me return this unit to Best Buy. I have purchased many items from Best Buy and this has been the first time I wanted to return my purchase.
