I took my measurements in and the salesman said this one would fit in my small kitchen. They could take the doors off to make it fit. Upon delivery the two men who were very good and they showed me that it would not fit, doors on or off. Left in my dining room. I had to pay $1,000. to have the metal door frame removed and repair the opening. Condo I live in was built in the 1940's. I do accept responsibility that the thought of them taking it back and then having to wait for another refrigerator that would fit was too much of a hassle. However since I have owned it I have frost in the freezer. The sounds of chunks of ice sliding down the inside back of the unit. I did not want an ice maker so I know that's not the problem. I have called for service and the women from my extended warranty contacted me to set up a delivery a service date. I have the 1 year manufacturer warranty also. I know the company that is assigned will do their best. I want to know why Best Buy isn't using the manufacture warranty and having their dedicated Insignia repair people look at my fridge? At this point I want to return the unit and purchase one that is smaller. I don't mind paying more as long as I get a refrigerator that works. I wanted to like this one. I will try to contact Insignia to see if they can help me return this unit to Best Buy. I have purchased many items from Best Buy and this has been the first time I wanted to return my purchase.
