Great TV for a kitchen or small area where you only watch TV occasionally. Decent picture quality and sound. I wouldn't recommend it for a living room or place where you watch TV all the time, I'd prefer a better picture quality and bigger screen for that. Great tv for the price.

It was priced right--affordable. Love the hi-def picture quality and sound.

Took a chance in this Insignia, never purchased this BestBuy's own brand before, but we are very happy that we did. Picture quality is great, can't beat the price.

This is a kitchen TV for me, so this is only a minor issue. Certainly more than good enough for its purpose.

Posted .Unfortunately we have not found a viable way to force screen size for SD signal, as recording sizes do vary, and enlarging the image size does cause some stretching and distorting. In most cases staying on the HD version of the content, will allow you to get the most out of your programming. - Jon, Insignia Support.

Good, inexpensive television

She did not need anything with bells and whistles - just something basic to plug into a DVD player. This little guy was very inexpensive and even has an HDMI port - which was convenient. It has been working flawlessly since we purchased it. It was easy to set up (I didn't even read the directions).

It fits perfectly in the space on the counter and has a great picture for a small TV. It was simple to hook up to the cable receiver and is easy to use. I've had it for a month now and so far so good. If I have one minor complaint, it would be that the sound is a little tinny. Otherwise I am very happy with it.

Set up and installation was a snap; there are plenty of inputs and outputs should we choose to hook-up extra devices. Good, clear picture. I knocked off one star because the sound is "hollow" and kind of flat. Otherwise a good deal.
