I got this as a gift for my parents to replace their decrepit kitchen television (it was ~15 years old, and had tinfoil as an antenna). It works great, fits into the nook that was left by the old TV, and has modern digital inputs (for use with a Roku stick). The only issue is that it's a bit on the dim side, which leads to low contrast and sharpness in high ambient light.

The television is great quality for the cost and the small size works perfectly in our recreational vehicle. Just the right size for putting it on the shelf or on a small cabinet. The picture quality is good and the sound adequate for a small area.

I was asked to research and buy a 19" replacement TV for my sister's mother in law's still working 13" CRT kitchen TV. I told them that enough time had passed that most "second tier" brands now have good picture quality and reliability and I'd buy the first one from my acceptable list on sale for under $98. Most have a list price of around $119 - $129 and can often be had for $99. A few weeks later this Best Buy private label popped up on sale for $79. I've had good luck with other Insignia products and Best Buy has always been great with any problems so I bought it. * I have not seen this TV in action but my sister and her mother in law are very happy and if the girls are happy I'm happy regardless of any deficiency I might perceive except reliability. Reliability has become something of "a roll of the dice" even with Samsung and Sony.

I mainly use it a secondary display for my laptop. Works flawlessly. I might purchase another one for work.

I bought this TV for in the bunkhouse of my camper and didn't want to spend a lot of money. It is a good cheap TV that is easy to setup whether we have cable or antenna. However, the sound is lacking big time in quality. It does have jacks for different kinds of cables. Overall, it is a nice TV for a nice price.

I purchased this TV for my kitchen. The size is great for small spaces. Because of the price, I didn't have high expectations for excellent quality. The picture is okay but the sound is like a transistor radio. Easy setup though. If you want an inexpensive no more than average TV - this is it.

Very pleased with the reception and picture of the Isignia television. It was difficult to find a smaller-sized television for a shelf in a library. Great value---well priced. New product for me.
