They're also not very loud when they are connected. I wish I was able to return them still, but Best Buy now has a smaller window for a return policy.

Sound broke up badly

Don't know range of blue tooth, but worked great close to computer & monitor. Don't know about longevity.. just had them a few hours. Problem was sound quality.. broke up when running volume above "low", especially the bass. Both speakers very similar sound.
