We have three members of the family working/studying from home and we were running out of computers ( and rooms!). Cheaper than buying a computer just because it’s speakers do not work.

Good for what I want

Quality monitor speakers are gonna start at around 100 bucks (more likely 200 and up).

If you are hooking them up to your xbox just put the male to male jack in your monitor and the speaker and it works. The best buy employee said it wouldn’t work that way lol.

Worked well enough, did what I wanted them to do, but in the last week I started hearing a crackle. Though it was my internet connection, but have since realized it's the connections in the back of the main (right) speaker. The cables are starting to fail and when I try to adjust them sound will cut out completely, one speaker comes in, or the crackle gets worse. Seems to be a physical issue, and nothing with my software or computer. For the price, i'm not super unhappy about that. They do get used a bunch and have served me well this far. But I was hoping they would last at least a year.
