It allows me to get more volume out of my TV, but it does not improve the sound much at all. Very basic. Buy it if you want to get more volume from your TV sound without blowing your TV speakers.

Great for the kitchen

Got new cords, followed every trouble shooting idea and all we could get it to do was buzz. Sadly we ended up returning it. I can't say there was something wrong with it directly or if it was our tv. It may have worked great if we have had a new model.

The sound on movies is awesome not the best quality considering the price but it's ok if you want something simple. When watching regular TV I find myself having to turn the TV up more. It might be better for a smaller tv probably not the best for larger TV's.

I needed one that would fit under her cabinets and not take up too much room. I went to BestBuy and found exactly what I needed and it has the best picture and performance for a small TV! Mom is very happy!

We decided to return it until we purchased the Insigna Soundbar. They speakers added depth to the tv and made us happy with both purchases.
