She has a older model tv so it’s not wireless compatible where I could put the bar next to her opposed to being hardwired. This may be better for someone who isn’t hard of hearing but wants more sound.

It actually has about the same volume level as the tv, but has a bit more bass than the tv does. All in all, I believe it's a good value for the price.

I followed the instructions and it didn't work. I know that I hooked it up right because I went back and reviewed the instructions. I have installed many TVs over the years for our home and family members. This was just a bad speaker.
