It was a little difficult to set up with the DVD player and the cable box as it kept playing what was on the cable instead of dvd and i couldn't control the volume for the dvd player, only the cable.

The only shortcoming is that it shuts off when paused for awhile and I have to turn it back on with the remote that came with it.

Had a hard time connecting

I tried to connect it to my tv using the input out cords that came with it. I couldn't get it to work, the instructions weren't helpful. The remote seems to only be usable when pointed a couple inches from the sound bar. I'm just going to return it, something this simple as a sound bar shouldn't be this difficult to set up. Never even got to hear the sound quality because it wouldn't connect.
