I was hesitant at first if a Speaker Bar was needed since the TV I have already comes with speakers and I'm not that picky about my audio quality. But after plugging it in and comparing to the TV's speakers it is like night and day. The TV's speakers in comparison were tinny and weak but once plugging in the sound bar I was amazed by all the sounds I was missing. It's also great that it directs the sound towards me and not at the wall.

I have two of the preceding model. They work great and WAY better than the big name, over priced ones. I know because I bought several and returned them because they were horrible. The Insignia though. It works well and easily outclassing the expensive junk. I also got this one on a clearance sale and paid about 30 for it which was even better. The others have been in regular use for about 6 years without any problems.

I bought it for $40 when it’s on sale and it has different options of modes and I can switch between my mobile and tv.sound quality was amazing.i would highly recommend to buy when it’s on sale.

One of the best decisions I've ever made was buying this sound bar. Sound is excellent, hookup is easy (optical is recommended) and Bluetooth functionality is welcomed.

Bought as a gift to go along with a new HDTV. I'm told the setup was very easy and the sound is excellent. No issues. Happy purchase. Good sound. Good value.

This soundbar is hands down one of the best ones I have ever listened to. I had been saying for weeks I wanted one for the garage but knew the prices for a good quality soundbar would be pretty high. Thanksgiving day, this bad boy was on sale for $39.99. I was alittle hesitant about getting it but decided to give it try. Boy am I glad I did. Sounds is rich, and true. The bass on this thing is outstanding. The volume is loud and keeps true to the sound. it fills the entire room and surrounds you like a true surround sound. Easily connect to the TV and gives BLUETOOTH option which connects to all my other devices with ease. I have already bought another to hand out for Christmas this year. A must buy people!!!

The sound bar was very easy to setup. The directions were very clear and even though I am electronically challenged sometimes, it was easy. Sounds great in the bedroom.

This soundbar is great for someone who is looking for better sound quality without paying an unnecessary amount of money. It is functional, but every time I turn off the TV and then turn the TV back on, I have to manually walk up to the soundbar and turn on the volume. For some reason, the volume mutes each time the TV gets turned off, so that is a nuisance.

I was looking for an inexpensive sounbar for my family room. The Insignia soundbar did the trick. It is great sounding and just the right size for my entertainment center.

Wonderful sound bar works very good with movies my Xbox, DVD player and my television, you cannot beat the price and you get very good quality.

I think this sounds bar is fine if you're just looking for average surround sound. I am happy with it for my needs. I must say the remote control arms pretty confusing...it took me nearly 2 hours to actually set the thing up. Once set up was completed I was pretty satisfied to say the least. FYI,this item is great for a living room but definitely not the choice for a Man Cave!!!

This unit really brings out the background and amplifies sound, especially for me because my hearing is not what it used to be. Great Price for quality, Less than $40.00

The bar is a bit long; it accepts two inputs; modes are Standard/Movie/News all with base; it is easy to install just plug in audible and power. Remote is easy to use but you cannot see what is selected unless you are looking down at the top of the bar... just a guess: got used to using it. It provides hi decibel sound: we think our hearing is worse for use though. We keep turning it down and up around dialogue versus background sound
