The bar itself turns on, bit no sound comes out-doesnt matter if you try to adjust volume with the remote or manually. I hooked it up to another TV & its the same thing, so definitely the speakers/bar itself. Extremely disappointed and glad i didnt buy another for my other TV, wouldve been a waste of money. Also, its pretty funny that the thing crapped out 10 days after the return policy expired. I seriously doubt thats a coincidence. Theres great reviews on best buy, but google reviews outside of the best buy site & you'll find some pretty bad ones. I definitely DO NOT recommend this product. Very unhappy with this product. Im sure some work great, but not the one i recieved...

It said it came with a remote but the remote control was missing. The sound was alright since the TV speaker would work sometimes and other times not. You get what you pay for.
